Bart1The parish is staffed by Conventual Franciscan Friars of Our Lady of the Angels Province Fr. Bart A. Karwacki OFM Conv., the Pastor. Serving the Oceanside Communities of Seaside Heights, Ortley Beach and Pelican Island.

Welcome to our website! If you are ever in Seaside Heights or as we say in New Jersey “Down the shore” please join us on weekends for the celebration of the Eucharist. We are a small community but try to provide a welcoming atmosphere filled with the Spirit of the Lord. Our church is simple yet beautiful providing a wonderful place to worship. Parish News & Events

After a process of much input and deliberation the Bishop has made his decision about the reorganization of parishes in the diocese based on the recommendations of the Diocesan Planning Commission.  He has decided that Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Seaside Heights, and St. Catharine Parish, Seaside Park, would merge into one new parish. This merger would mean the creation of a parish with a new name and all organizations, ministries, programs, finances, assets, and liabilities would belong to the new parish. One new staff, Finance Council, and Pastoral Council will be formed. This does not  mean that OLPH will close. The parish would stay open and be one of two worship sites which would keep their names. The new parish would continue to be staffed by the Conventual Franciscan Friars of Our Lady of the Angels Province but would have one pastor and one parochial vicar (assistant pastor). The establishment of this new parish is to be accomplished by July 1, 2018.

Tree of Life Fundraiser

treeoflifeHelp support OLPH Church keep our buildings beautiful. We have reintroduced our Tree of life which is displayed on the rear wall of the church. To become part of our tree please donate a leaf on the tree for $500.00, an acorn for $1000.00, and a Foundation Stone for $2000.00. Your inscription on the leaf can be 20 letters or spaces on each leaf line and up to 4 lines on a leaf.
